Obituary of Carol Morden
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Carol Morden (née Grunwald) on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the age of 71 years, after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. She was predeceased by her husband Stan Morden; parents, Edward and Adelia Grunwald; and mother and father-in-law William and Jane Morden. Carol is survived by her children, Robin (Cara) Morden, Winnipeg, MB, Oriole (Marlin) Johnson, Martensville, SK, Marty (Melanie) Morden, Dauphin, MB, and Curtis (Meghan) Morden, Calgary, AB; her beloved grandchildren, Dustin (Breann), Desirae “Dolly”, Shayla “Laa-Laa”, Emerson, Johnathan, Delia, Madisyn, Maddux, and Mikyla; great-grandson Kayson; as well as her sister Sharon; brothers, Dennis and Kelly; brother-in-law Leo; as well as many nieces and nephews. A special thank-you to all the staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre and Oncology Unit 3B, as well as to those friends and family who were so supportive and such a great help on mom’s journey. A Celebration of Carol’s Life will take place at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Private interment in Riverside will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carol may be made to the Oncology Unit 3B at the Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5.
