OBITUARY
Carol Butler
2 March , 1930 – 1 April , 2018
Carol Butler passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born March 2, 1930 in Regina, Saskatchewan, daughter of the late Elizabeth and Philipp Daum. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ron, loving son Larry, two brothers (Ernest and Al) and two sisters (Martha and Lena). She is survived by two sisters and their families: Ellie Loiselle and Olie Cosgrove, many nieces and nephews, and by her daughter Donna (Marlin) McTavish (Al Hunt) and by her grandsons, Cam (Kate and great granddaughters Havana and Riviera) and Thomas. Carol also leaves behind loyal friends Kathie & Barry Ward and her surrogate granddaughters, Carly and Kristie and many other loyal friends. Many may know Carol from the 40 years she managed the Pharmasave in Port Coquitlam, but prior to that, she was a fashion model and earned her pilots license. In her retirement, Carol volunteered with Pitt Meadows Community Police Services and Red Cross blood donor clinics. She was a lifetime member of the V.S.P.O.A. Carol loved entertaining, traveling, gardening, children, theater and music (especially Englebert and Il Divo). She was also an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles. A private celebration of life will be held in Pitt Meadows on April 14, 2018.
