Carl Theodore Thibodeau May 2 1947 May 5 2018 (age 71)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carl Theodore Thibodeau on May 5, 2018 at Bobby’s Hospice. He was born in Gilbert’s Cove, NS on May 2, 1941 to the late Ralph and Marie (Comeau) Thibodeau and was the loving husband of 24 years to his late wife Lorraine (Woods) Thibodeau.
Carl was a Millwright and Engineer, working at locations such as the Saint John Drydock, Coleson Cove, Point Lepreau and others. He enjoyed going camping any chance he could and he was a great fan of boating. His last wish was to see his 77th birthday, and that wish was granted. Carl will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his granddaughter Kelsey, his sister Ruth (Harold) Jefferson, nieces and nephews and his good friend Rose (Terry) MacKenzie. In addition to his parents and wife Lorraine, he was predeceased by his daughter Patricia.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). In keeping with Carl’s wishes, no visitation will be held. A graveside burial will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10am at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Any donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
