Carilyne Ireland August 3rd 2018

Born in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom, in 1942, passed away peacefully, with her loving husband Garrett Ireland, her two sons, Colin Ireland and Seauin Ireland, by her side, on August 3, 2018, at 4:20 pm Pacific Standard Time, at the Richmond General Hospital intensive care unit, in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.
She is survived by her loving family, daughter Alison Moran, granddaughter, Ruby Moran, grandson, Liam Moran, Niece Deborah Bond and her husband Graham Bond, their two sons Nik and Matthew Bond. We thank them for their kind words and support, during this time.
We would also like to thank the medical staff and team, headed up by Dr. Wong, at Richmond General Hospital, ICU, for their incredible dedication to Carilyne’s care and comfort, for the 11 days she was under their guidance and protection. We are eternally grateful to them as a family, for all they did during her care and passing, in the final days of her life.
There will be no funeral service and we ask that our family’s privacy be respected at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carilyne’s memory to the Richmond Hospital Foundation appreciated. 7000 Westminster Hwy., Richmond, British Columbia, Canada (Tel: 604-244-5252).
Carilyne was often quoted as saying, “Let Go and Let God”. She will be missed, but her spirit will live on forever. We, as a family, want to thank her for being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She’s with God and her family now. Duw bendithia chi Carilyne (in Welsh translates to God Bless You Carilyne).
