BYRON EUGENE MINERS (1949 – 2018)
Suddenly, at his home in Culloden on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, Byron Eugene Miners passed away at the age of 69 years. Beloved partner and best friend of Robyn Palmer for 20 wonderful years. Proud and loving father of Corey Miners (Melanie) of Mississauga, Bradley Miners (Teresa) of Tillsonburg and step-father of Stephanie Middleton (Jeff) of Windsor. Cherished grandpa of Derek and Dylan Miners and Kelsey and Logan Middleton. Dear brother of Dianne Matisz of Tavistock. Byron is also survived by his nieces and nephews Jacqueline, Paul, Michael, Emily and Elizabeth. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Patricia (Brown) Miners. Byron spent many years as a heavy haul trucker. He was also an avid wood worker. But his greatest love was for his family. He will be missed by all and never forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Private inurnment will be held later in Springfield Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
