It is with great sadness that the family of Bud Lawrence, of Orillia, announces his passing at Spencer House on Sunday, April 22, 2018 with his wife by his side. Bud was born May 10, 1938 & raised in Hampshire Mills, north of Orillia. Loving husband, for 56 years, of Rhoda (nee Bell). Beloved father of Barb (Kevin Clark). Loving Gramps of Nicole Clark. Son of the late George & Jennie Lawrence of Orillia. Brother of Marjorie Dixon (predeceased) and Emma Vogt of Central Islip, NY. Beloved brother-in-law of Glenn (predeceased) & Corinne Bell of Harriston, Tom & Linda Bell, Don & Donna Sanderson, Carolyn & Guenter Zeeb, Neil & Pam Bell, Royce & Marilyn Bell, Blaine Bell of South River, Nancy Bell, Brian & Carol of Manotick, Connie & Bill Wilson. He will be missed by his many nieces & nephews and their partners. Bud has joined his beloved 4 legged companion, Lucy, who was his pride & joy before her passing. Bud was a well known builder in Orillia for decades and after his retirement he spent many hours puttering around the farm enjoying adventures on his Gator. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Thursday, April 26th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. In Memory of Bud, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
