Bruce Laverne Wideman
Bruce Wideman, resident of Hythe, AB, formerly of Beaverlodge, AB, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018, at Beaverlodge Hospital, at the age of 67 years.
Bruce was born in Camrose, AB, on September 18, 1950 to Samuel and Patricia Wideman.
He met the love of his life, Agnes Burns, and they married in April 1972. He then went on to have a career in Emergency Services and Oilfield Services where he created and made many bonds with many people.
Bruce loved to go fishing, boating, camping and hanging out with his family and friends around the fire.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Agnes Wideman; children: Jessica, Brady, Melissa (Jeff), Kristie (Shawn), and Caleb; and grandchildren; his family: mother Patricia Wideman, Sam (Grace), Lonnie (Noel) and Holly.
He was predeceased by his father Samuel Wideman.
A Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at 11:00am, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11:00am, at the Hythe Legion (10212 100 Ave.).
Memorial donations may be made to Beaverlodge Hospital Foundation (Box 480, Beaverlodge, AB, T0H 0C0).
