Brian Russell McEachern passed away in Calgary, Alberta on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the age of 62 years. Brian was a loving, caring and dedicated husband and father who was born in Calgary, Alberta. He was a hard worker who worked in the Heavy Manufacturing Industry for almost 40 years. After his marriage, he went to the University of Calgary and obtained his Business Management and continued taking courses until he was unable due to his health.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Susanna; his son, Martinus (April); brother Dennis (Karen) McEachern; father and mother-in-law Christiaan and Leny Heikoop; sister-in-law Coby Heikoop; brother-in-laws Martinus (Lori) Heikoop, Christiaan (Sjaane) Heikoop; and best friends Buddy and Pearl Drebit.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Ruby McEachern. Brian will be greatly missed by his many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4th Street NW, Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Brugge officiating. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
If friends so desire, Memorial Donations may be made directly to Multiple Sclerosis Society, 110 Quarry Park Blvd, Calgary, Alberta, T2C 4P5.
