Brian Richard Thiessen passed away at the Claresholm General Hospital on Friday, March 16, 2018 at age 53 after a brief but difficult battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Ramona; daughters Lorissa Meunier (Joey) and Carly; brothers Ken (Maria), Stan (Sherry) and sister Bonnie Rathgeber (Tim); grandchildren Gabriel and Sandy; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Brian was predeceased by his mother Eva Thiessen and father John Thiessen.
Brian enjoyed music (especially drums), his wife Ramona’s cooking, camping and fishing. He loved his family and friends and spending time with them. Brian always liked driving out in the Porcupine Hills for a picnic or just to spend time outdoors with nature. For over 10 years Brian had worked at Claresholm Beef Producers and previous to that at Landmark Feeds before it closed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Willow Creek Funeral Home (4079-1st Street West, Claresholm) with Pastor Stefan Ulrich presiding.
