Obituary of Brent Wilson
Surrounded by his loving family, Brent Murray Wilson 77 years of Waterloo, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2018 at Innisfree House in Kitchener.
Brent was born in Sudbury, Ontario to Thomas Henry and Viola Wilson on June 2, 1940. He enjoyed volunteering with the Waterloo Lakeshore Optimists Club, coaching Waterloo Youth Softball and driving for Elliot Lake Huron Lodge Volunteer Medical Transportation. Brent was a long-time member of Espanola Lodge Masonic Temple. An avid walker, he walked in many Terry Fox Runs and half marathons.
Loving husband of Judy Wilson for 53 years. Devoted father of Kelly Wilson (deceased 2016), Cheryl Wilson and Shawn (Cheryl T) Wilson. Grandfather to Brent Douglas Wilson and Regan McTaggart. Brother to special twin sister, Brenda Hobbs. Will be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends. Brent leaves his faithful canine companion Cricket. Predeceased by many family members.
Condolences for the family and memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Innisfree House, Kitchener, may be arranged by contacting the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
According to Brent’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Following cremation, a private family service will take place. A celebration of life will take place in Massey, Ontario at a future date.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. D. Ward and Care Partners Nurses.
