Oswald, Robert: Passed away at Innisfree House on October 30, 2018. Born in Bridgeport (Kitchener) on March 29, 1938.
Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Janet Bricker.
Father of Jeff (Nancy) Oswald and Cheryl (Dan) Stevenson. He will be remembered by his 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister, June Dietrich and brother, Paul (Marilyn) Oswald.
Predeceased by his parents, Gregory and Ada Oswald, his sisters Jean (Claude) Fries, Marilyn (Bill) Dorscht and his brother-in-law, Joe Dietrich.
“Life has been good, now I begin my final journey.”
Many thanks to my buddy and friend Gerald Berlet aka “Tizzy” for 79 years of friendship but in the last couple of years has given me many good times filled with nothing but excellent memories. I could not have asked for a better buddy to stand by me. He is one true kind and caring gentleman. “Thank you Tizzy for always being there for me”.
At Robert’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place with a private interment at Parkview Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Innisfree House would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
