Mr. Blake Douglas Schweitzer

Mr. Blake Douglas Schweitzer, age 62 years, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 13, 2018.
Blake was born in Kitchener, Ontario on October 27, 1956. He loved his family, the outdoors, woodworking and was a gifted craftsman. Blake was a good friend and co-worker to many, most recently employed at KBM Resources Group.
Blake is survived by his loving wife Margaret; sons Wolff (Katrina) and Russell (Erin) and two precious granddaughters, Evelyn and Rachel. He is also mourned by his parents, Edgar and Doreen; sisters Janine (Ian) and Karen (Mark) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A heartfelt thank you to the Thunder Bay Police and First Responders for their compassion at the scene.
Funeral Services for the late Mr. Blake Schweitzer will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10:00am in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Cremation will follow the service with a private interment in Hymers Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00pm in the Chapel.
Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Blake to the Underground Gym would be greatly appreciated.
