It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bill Morton announces the sudden passing of a wonderful best friend, father, son, husband, and brother. Bill passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay Ontario April 21st in the early morning. He was the loving father of Trevor and Travis Morton, Hannah Brecht and Carly Farmer. The caring son of William and Bonnie (deceased) Morton and son-in-law of Ethel Lewis. Predeceased by his devoted wife Bonny Morton. Dear brother of Dan Morton, April McEvoy, and Karen Leswal. Many years of Bill’s life was dedicated to his family and his favorite hobbies. Bill was often found with his dog Milo at the Dog Park or in the basement perfecting his love of woodworking. Wherever Bill went he carried his good sense of humor along with him, as well as, a steeped tea. Billy will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes, or the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation (Fourth Floor Surgical Ward North) would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will take place at a later date at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay. (705-328-2721) Online condolence may be made at www.mackeys.ca. The children of Bill would like to thank the staff of Ross Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care which Bill Received.
