Bianca Germin 2018

Bianca Fernanda Germin, age 90, of Stratford passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 8, 2018. Born in Vicenza, Italy, daughter of the late Attillio Belgini and the former Rosa Longo. Beloved wife of the late Augusto Germin. Loved mother of Tony Germin (Gail) and Rose Mary Vito (Carmine). Honoured grandmother of 4 grandchildren Brent Germin (Heather), Corrie Germin (Luciana), Vanessa Mawashi (Ali) and Rosanna Vito. Special great-grandmother of Charlie Germin. Dear sister to Sandra, Ernesto and Benito Belgini (predeceased). Bianca will be greatly missed by her sister Ida Pedon and her nieces and nephews in Italy. Bianca lived her life courageously and with tenacity. Her adventurous spirit lead her to reside in Italy, Australia and Canada. She dedicated her life to generously sharing her immense love, joy and talents with her family. As a young woman, Bianca had a passion for beauty, music and fashion. In the latter years, her favourite pass times included tending her flower garden, riding her bicycle to market and singing opera songs. She especially enjoyed family gatherings where everyone would look forward to tasting her exceptional Italian cooking. Thank you to the Long Term Care Team at Greenwood Court for their most professional and compassionate care for Bianca over the past few years. At the request of Bianca, a private Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Stratford followed by interment at Avondale Cemetery.
