It is with sadness, we announce the passing of Betty (Elizabeth) Blum
She is survived by her spouse Joseph Blum, children: Ambrose (Tammy) Blum, Brian Blum, Donna Blum; grandchildren: Leo Blum, Taylor Blum, Serena Blum; brother Alex (Stella) Romanow, sisters: Olive Kotylak, Kathy Lewko, Elaine Brown, brother Ron (Bev) Romanow, sister-in-law Darlene Romanow
Betty was predeceased by her sister Connie Shmigelsky, brother-in-law Mike Shmigelsky, brother Edward Romanow, brothers-in-law: Joe Kotylak, Fred Lewko, Barry Brown.
The family would like to express their sincere thank you to friends Maria Reis, Helen Yurkiwsky, Helen Runzer, Ludwika Balaban, Carol Kalyta, Lillian Shykowski, as well as other special friends and neighbours. The family would also like to thank Extendicare Eaux Claires and Rosedale Griesbach for their care and compassion shown to Betty during her stay.
A visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Service, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 7:00pm with a Funeral Service being held at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Parish 9003 153 Avenue, Edmonton on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10:00 am with Father Janko Herbut officiating.
Interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery, 13819 – 82 Street, Edmonton.
