Obituary for Betty Ann Jackson (Sockett)
Betty Ann Jackson (nee Sockett), of Walkerton, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton on Tuesday, February 20th, 2018. She was 68.
Beloved wife of Donald Jackson. Loving mother of her children Gordon (Melanie) of Toronto, Grant (Laura) of Queensville, Jacqueline (Kirk) Buchanan of Tiny and Jeff (Sherry) of Tiny. Cherished grandmother of Kurtis, Colton and Bryson. Dear sister-in-law of Margaret Sockett of Walkerton and Harland Tansley of Hespler. She will be remembered by her nieces and nephews. Special gratitude to Betty Ann’s nieces, Lori Bester, Pam Schumacher and Gwen Johnson.
Betty Ann was predeceased by her sisters Linda Tansley, Norma Jean (Bob) Elphick and Shirley (Bill) Dennie; brothers Donald Sockett and Bill (Marilyn) Sockett and parents John and Grace (nee Darroch) Sockett.
Betty Ann’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, February 26th, 2018 at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton (1106 Yonge Street).
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 27th, 2018 at 11:00 am at Knox Presbyterian Church, Walkerton (208 Cayley Street). Rev. Megan Purdy officiating.
