Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Saturday, July 21st, 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of 50 years to Barb Fitzpatrick. Dear father of Jeff & his wife Kim and Brett & his wife Jill. Cherished Poppy of Owen, Aubree, Maddox and Violet. Remembered by his brother John & his wife Irene. Bernie will also be greatly missed by his nephews Bill (Kelly), Joe Walsh and his nieces Darlene Fitzpatrick (Brian) and Michelle Walsh (Mark) and their families, and brother-in-law to Molly (Neil), Bill Metcalfe other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church 42 Dawson Rd Orangeville, on Thursday, July 26th, 2018 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to the psp.org would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Bernie in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
