CHARRON, Béatrice (nee Boyle)
Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Saint-Louis Residence in Orléans at age 96. Daughter of the late Valmore Boyle and Casilda Proulx and beloved wife of the late Ernest “Ernie” Charron. Loving mother of Gérard (Louise Lemay) and Jacques (Janis Cooper) and mother-in-law to Claudette (Glazer). Cherished grandmother of Sylvie (Stéphane Lavigne), Michel (Michelle Fournier), Kariane (Davis Hutchings), Véronique, as well as step-grandmother of Alexis and Veronica Bura. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Sébastien and Alexandre Lavigne, Noémie and Arielle Charron as well as step great-grandchildren Logan and Brin; and one great-great grandson Nathaniel Lavigne. She leaves in sorrow many nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law and brothers- in- law. She was also predeceased by her son Jean and daughter Claire (Worth), her sisters Lucille (Gagnon), Jeannette and brother Lucien.
The family would like to thank all the staff and volunteers at the Saint-Louis Residence for their compassionate care over a period of 9½ years; a special thank you to Elaine Armstrong for many years of dedication to Béatrice’s wellbeing.
A memorial Liturgy will be held on October 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, Ontario, K0E 1P0 followed by interment. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario, 1400 Clyde Avenue, Suite 222, Ottawa, ON, K2G 3J2. Arrangements entrusted to Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E., Brockville, Ontario
