Passed away peacefully at Lanark Heights on Thursday, October 4, 2018 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late James Keith Smuck. Loving mother of Larry Smuck (Ruby Kurt), Carolyn Sellars (Ian) and Jacquelaine Grover. Proud Granny of Jim, John (Debbie), Julie (Stephen), Sherri (Andy), Mark, Wendy (Chris), Jill, Steven and Christopher (Cheryl) and 18 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Evelyn Affeldt (late Lloyd). Many thanks to the caring and dedicated staff at Lanark Heights, you were like extended family to our mom.
Bea’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 10 Lorraine Ave., on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Private interment Woodland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
