Basil Tait
At St. Joseph’s Villa on Saturday, December 1, 2018. Basil Alexander Tait formerly of Maxville; age 91 years. Beloved husband for 49 years of the late Eileen Tait (nee Pilon) (2011). Loving father of Karen Rupert (Gary) of Maxville, and Bruce Tait (Louise) and Brent Tait both of Cornwall. Loving grandfather of Katrina and Samantha Rupert, and Emily, Matthew, Bailey and Janessa Tait. Dear son of the late Robert Tait and the late Christina Cumming. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 10 until 11 am. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the St. Joseph’s Villa, Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Basil a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
