Barbara
“Nanny” Margaret Pelerine, age 77, of Stellarton,
passed away on September 27, 2018 at the Aberdeen Hospital surrounded
by her loving family. Born in Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia on
February 20, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Elwood
“Bucky” and Lenna Grace (Rodenhiser)
Keith.
Mom lived
a quiet life as an extremely loving mother, wife, grandmother and
friend. She treasured her family and enjoyed many pet dogs
that brought her happiness over the years, in particular
Sheeba. She enjoyed going for drives, her many years at a
family camp in Sherbrooke, drawing and coloring, classic Western
movies, and animal watching – especially birds and
deer.
Surviving
are her husband of 57 years, William “Bill”, a son
Leonard (Mary) of Merigomish, daughters Lori Pelerine (Randi) of
Goshen and Lenna (Blair) Fraser of Plymouth; grandchildren, Nicholas
(Dawne), Samantha (Zach), Hilary (Matthew), Tyler (Jennifer), and
Rylee (Corey).
She was
predeceased by a brother, Leonard Keith, her best friend Sybil and
numerous in-laws.
Cremation
has taken place. It was Barb’s wishes that there be no
services. Donations in Barb’s name can be made to the SPCA
or a charity that is dear to you. Rest in peace Mom, we love
you and will dearly miss you.
