Passed away unexpectedly at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in her 83rd year. Loving daughter of the late Alonzo Thompson and Carrie Woods. Beloved wife of Paul Davis. Loving mother of Michelle Whalen, Marshal Davis (Ton) and Scott Davis (Kristy). Cherished Grandmother ‘Nanny’ of Carrie Koopmans (Chris), Chris Whalen (Cheylynn), Hailey Davis and Krysia Davis. Great grandmother of Camryn, Myla, Isaac, Grace-Lynn and Mavnc. Predeceased by her siblings Nina Groves, Penno Thompson (Christine), Harry Thompson (June), Norreen Naven (Archie), Iner Thompson (Sue) and Hank Thompson. Joan will always be remembered by her many nieces and nephews and her dear friend Dennis Newton and her little fur buddy Bentley. At the request of the family there will be no service or visitation. Burial at a later date.
