Obituary for Barbara Lapierre (Mallett)
Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Thursday, March 8, 2018. Barbara Ellen (Mallett) Lapierre, at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Ken Lapierre. Survived by her children, JoAnn Martin (Brent), Ken Lapierre (Jennifer), Craig Lapierre (Anne), and Kelly Watson (Kevin). Will be missed by her grandchildren, Tyler (Beth), Gregory, and Matthew (Sang Jin) Martin; Ken (Rebecca), Andrew (Amanda), and Michael Lapierre; Chad Lapierre (Kristie); and Ethan Watson (Nicole). Fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Riley, Parker, and Cole as well as by many nieces and nephews. Also survived by her siblings, Roslie “Rose” Clifford (Reg) and Larry Mallett as well as by her in-laws, Margaret, Ruthie, Al, Bill, and Evelyn. Predeceased by her siblings, Douglas, Len, David, Pearl, Betty and Rudy.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 11 am until 1 pm. A Funeral Liturgy will take place in the Chapel at 1 pm followed by interment and reception. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer Society of Lanark Leeds and Grenville or the Canadian Cancer Society in honour of Barbara.
