Barbara Ann Crane (nee Montgomery)
Barbara passed away at home on Saturday, May 12, 2018 surrounded by her husband and children at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Bob for over 50 years. Dear mother of Darcia (Rick) Romaniuk, Deidre (Gary) Pullen and Rob (Nadia) Crane. Cherished grandmother of Drake, Darrah, Deandra, Tyler, Lauryn, Jenna, Nathan, Avery, Hudson, Trent, Aimee and Evan. Predeceased by her parents Harvey and Irene Montgomery. Barbara will also be greatly missed by her sisters Vada, Jeanette, and Linda and her many relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Candusso and the Bayshore Nurses who provided exceptional care and support.
Visitations will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
A tree will be planted in memory of Barbara in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
