Obituary
Barbara died on November 24th, 2018, at Burnaby General Hospital after a short illness. She was 84 years old. She is survived by her loving husband Frank Lussier, children, Ann Delorme (Brian Delorme), John Lussier (Colleen Hourigan), Patrick Lussier (Patricia Scissons), her grandchildren, David Delorme (Jennifer Delorme), Devin Baugh-Lussier (Zahara Baugh-Lussier), Nathaniel Lussier, Jonah Lussier, Katie Klassen (Tyler Klassen) and great grandchild Emery Delorme as well as her older sister Marjorie Williams.
After a lifetime committed to coaching volleyball and badminton in both Burnaby and Prince George, conducting P.E. classes at St. Francis de Sales Elementary School in Burnaby, BC and a two decade dedication to the Burnaby Hospice Society, Barbara has left behind a legacy of service to her community, friends and family. Barbara was an accomplished artist and participated in various BC art groups all through her life.
The family thanks all the doctors and nurses at Burnaby General who cared for her in her final days, including Dr. Musini, Dr. Lee, Dr. Lam, Dr. Hu, nurses Olga, Sean and Greg.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Parish, 6610 Balmoral St, Burnaby, BC at 11:00 am on Friday, November 30th, 2018 with reception to follow.
