Passed away peacefully at Welland Hospital on Sunday December 31, 2017, in his 80th year. Survived by siblings Norman (Elaine), Charles (Bev) and Norine. Loving Step Father to four children and missed by five nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Sydney and Audrey and spouse Phyllis Cosby.
Arthur graduated from Kemptville Agricultural College and farmed at Cooks Mills until his retirement. He was very active in the Niagara Regional Exhibition. He was a Past Master of Myrtle Lodge 337, 32˚ Scottish Rite, and member of the Port Colborne/Welland Shrine Club.
The family would like to extend a heart felt thanks to Dr. E. Chau and the nursing staff at the ICU at Welland Hospital for their loving care. Friends will be received by the family at the Wesley United Church, 244 First Avenue, Welland on Saturday January 6, 2018 from 10-11am. The Masonic and funeral service to honour Arthur’s life will take place at 11am. Interment will take place at a later date at Fonthill Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Shriners or the charity of your choice.
