Obituary for Arthur “Artie” MacCuaig
Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family on Friday, Jaunary 5, 2018. Arthur Duncan “Artie” MacCuaig of Bainsville; age 70 years. Beloved husband of the late Joanne MacCuaig (nee Levac). Loving father of Jason MacCuaig (Shannon) of Bainsville, and Kristina McNaughton (Eric) of Dalkeith. Cherished grandfather of Avery, Marley and Eileen MacCuaig, and Hannah and Hunter McNaughton. Dear brother of Margie Reasbeck (late Eric) of Lancaster, Anne Sharkey (Brian Norris) of Ottawa and Helen Macintosh (Jim Davis) of South Lancaster. Predeceased by one brother John MacCuaig (late Gerona), and by his parents Hugh James and Janet MacCuaig (nee McKay). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. Funeral Service will be held in the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, South Lancaster on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the ALS Society or to the Bainsville Recreation Association would be appreciated by the family.
