GRESCHUK, Arlene Mary
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of 54 years to Theodore. Loving mother of Glen (April), Leonard, Valerie (Tim) and Margaret (Gary). Proud grandma to Keith, Cameron, Matthew (Véronic), Jonathan, Alannah, Ashley (Cameron) and Cassandra. Great grandmother to Jaxon. Cherished sister-in-law of Angela (the late Henry) and Jean (the late Edward). Arlene will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Arlene was a Nurse’s Aide in the Niagara Region for many years. She had a passion for classic country music, and would often be found singing along to old tunes. She will be remembered for her extreme kindness toward others, her love of animals and for her love of family.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Linhaven and NHS-St. Catharines Site for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Arlene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 31 Chestnut St. East, St. Catharines on Saturday, August 4 at 9:30 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will be held at St. Patrick’s Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
