Obituary of Antonio (Alberto) Lucarelli
Born in Italy March 29, 1955, Albert was welcomed into the arms of our Lord, peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at home, on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Best friend and love of his life, Eva Lucarelli (Flegrei) for 46 years. Adored father of Andrew and Tara (Tony). The light of his life was also being “funny nonno” to his grandchildren Milana and Luca. Predeceased by his parents Daniele and Stellina Lucarelli. Beloved brother of Emma (Domenico) and Mauro (Rita). Zio of Matteo (Stefania) and Giacomo. He will be loved and remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and childhood friends in Italy and many friends around the World. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow.
A Celebration of Albert’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at The SpeakEasy lounge at Algoma University from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. This location is a place that demonstrates Albert’s passion for carpentry, art and love of his community. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all their friends and family for their love, support, and dedication during this difficult journey. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Sick Kids Hospital. We would also like to thank The Bayshore home care nurses, Brandy and Leo for their exceptional care and guidance and all the fine doctors and nurses at the Sault Area Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758).
