Annie Agnes Jollimore
Annie Agnes Jollimore passed away peacefully in her sleep in the overnight hours of December 17 at the age of 91. Born in 1927, she was the eldest daughter of Demeras Benjamin Slaunwhite and Mary Lavina Pettipas. She spent most of her life in Terence Bay, living a simple but full life. Annie endeared herself to all who knew her. She will be missed dearly by her husband of 57 years, Frederick John Jollimore, who was always by her side, including in their final year in nursing care together. Fred would make his way to Annie’s wing at Parkstone Enhanced Care every afternoon to accompany her to supper, always pulling out her chair like a gentleman to seat her at their table. Annie leaves behind her two loving sons, Glen Jollimore and Daniel Jollimore (his wife, Tynette, and grandson, Luc), her sister, Dorothy (Jim) Slaunwhite, and her late brothers George (Edna) Slaunwhite and Harvey (Marie) Slaunwhite. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews (Derrick, Brent, Colin, Blaine, Debbie, Judy, Bill). She touched many other lives as well, including the people who helped care for her in her final years. We wish to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff at Parkstone Enhanced Care for their compassion and care. Annie will be laid to rest at Our Lady Star of the Sea Cemetery in Terence Bay in the spring. A private gathering will be held to celebrate Annie’s life in the coming weeks
