OBITUARY
Anni Bieniak
18 February , 1931 – 14 October , 2018
Anni Bieniak passed away peacefully at the Dulcina Hospice in Calgary, Alberta on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the age of 87 years.
Anni immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1953. She worked as a chambermaid in Banff, then as a cleaner at the Bay downtown, the old airport and AGT.
Anni is survived by her children Deiter and Waltraud of Ontario, Susan Casamayor of Medicine Hat, as well as Richard (Paula) of Calgary; her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Stanislaw in 1996.
Words cannot express our love, gratitude, appreciation and respect for all the staff at Dulcina Hospice. They went above and beyond making sure Anni was as comfortable as possible and they treated her like she was their own family member.
A Celebration of Anni’s Life will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4th Street NW, Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Anni’s name directly to Dulcina Hospice at St. Marguerite Manor, 110 Evanspark Manor N.W., Calgary, Alberta, T3P 0N4, Attentioned to Carol Lefebvre.
