PAYNE, Annie Bella (nee Irvine)
Anniebella (Anne) Payne, beloved wife of the late Lloyd Payne of Huntsville. Daughter of the late Gideon & Mary Irvine of Turriff, Scotland Aberdeenshire, passed away at the age of 91 at Fairvern Nursing Home, Huntsville, Ontario on Thursday, May 3, 2018. Born March 13, 1927 in Aberdeen Scotland which she always remembered fondly. Anniebella was the oldest of six siblings: The late Mary (Bunty) and Peter Clarke of Fraserburgh, Scotland, Beatrice & the late David Main of Eglin, Scotland, The late James & Marina Irvine of Australia, The late Gideon (Ian) & Pat Irvine of Nairn, Scotland, Betty and the late Tom Donald of Elgin, Scotland, Lilias & Jim Donald of Ellon, Scotland. Beloved mother of five: Irvine Payne of Walkers Lake, Anna (John) Wesolowski of Mississauga, Bradley (Ginny) Payne of Emsdale, Gary (Christine) Payne of Huntsville, The late Andy (Tammy) of Novar. Grandmother of nine: Wendy (John) Forward, Norman Payne, Kirsten (Andrew) Reddeman, Nicole (Phil) Nickerson, David (Jennifer), Justan (Chelsea) Payne, Mitchell Payne, Cameron and Lucas Payne. Great-grandmother of ten: Janelle, Brittany, Jack Forward, Aiden, Owen Reddeman, Phoenix, Piper Payne, Brody, Ben Payne and Brynn Payne. Anniebella had many cousins, nieces and nephews and their children in Scotland that she loved. Anne was also a cherished sister-in-law, aunt and great aunt to so many more in Huntsville.
In keeping with Anne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Huntsville on May 19, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
