Ann Rankine passed away at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Sunday, October 28, 2018. Ann was 98 years old and five months. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Gillespie Rankine (Aug. 2015). Ann’s son, Rob Rankine and daughter-in-law, Lorna Rankine are heartbroken and she will be in their hearts forever. Ann was an amazing lady. She loved and cared for animals and birds, and her darling cats. She helped many people and made a difference in the world. She was an avid golfer up into her 80’s. She loved gardening and shopping. Mom was an inspiration to humanity and feisty at times. We will love her and respect her forever and are thankful to have her as our mother. May our mom, Ann rest in peace.
