Anne-Marie Foley 2018

Obituary Overview
1962-2018
Anne-Marie Foley passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side after a courageous, and almost lifelong, battle with cancer. Anne-Marie left us on December 15th, her 56th birthday.
Anne had a large and loving family who will forever be grateful they had her in their lives. She leaves behind her husband Robert Bryar, her children, Vanessa, Amy, Steven and Nina and two beautiful grandchildren, Lennon and Indiana Mei who were the lights of her life. Also left to remember Anne are her parents Gerald and Lorie Foley, her sisters Susan and Patricia and her brother David. In addition, there is a large extended family and many close friends who loved Anne dearly. We will miss her more than words here can ever convey.
Anne was a nurse and spent most of her career at St Vincent’s where she touched many lives and will be deeply
missed by her patients and by her colleagues. The family offers sincere thanks to the nurses and other medical staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital and at the Ottawa General for their kind and compassionate care.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the
Kelly Funeral Home- Walkley Chapel, 1255 Walkley Road, Ottawa, ON K1V 6P9

on Thursday, December 20th, 2018 from 1 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm with a small reception to follow.

  1. Rest in Peace; Anne Marie. My condolences to Anne Marie’s Family. Worked and sang with Anne Marie, during our night shifts at St Vincent’s Hospital.

  2. I was deeply saddened to receive word from a former colleague at St. Vincent Hospital about Anne Marie’s death.

For more than 20 years, I was a hospital chaplain at St. Vincent, and often talked with Anne Marie during the evening shift. Her quiet, attentive presence was one of the many blessings I received while working there.
