D’Ambrino, Anna:
Surrounded by her loving family, Anna passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 14th, 2018 at St. Mary’s General Hospital at the age of 75.
Beloved wife of 59 years to Luigi. Loving mother of Pat (Tom) Spurgeon and Carlo (Danielle) D’Ambrino. Cherished Nonna of Alex, Zachary, Craig, Joshua, Ethan, and Bella. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her family and friends in Italy and here at home.
Predeceased by her son Carlo (1971) daughter Rose Wippich (2002), her parents, Ferdinando and Italia Veglia and brothers, Franco, Egidio, and Enzo.
She was a true “Italian Nonna” and her greatest pleasure in life was welcoming and feeding people in her home.
Anna’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Thursday October 18 from 3-5 and 7-9pm with prayers at 8:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Aloysius RC Church, 11 Traynor Ave. Kitchener, on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 10am. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
