1931-2018
Anna M. Love of Mactaquac, NB passed away on September 12, 2018 at the
Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Anna was born in 1931 at Renous, NB, a
daughter of the late Weldon and Kathryn (Tozer) Schofield.
Anna was a true gardener, who took pride in her garden and enjoyed
canning and bottling her yearly harvest of vegetables. She also
enjoyed knitting. Following her nursing career as an RN, she assisted
her husband in the daily operation of the family hog farm as well as
selling meat products at the Boyce Farmers Market each Saturday for
many years.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harold Love; a son, James
Love (Sherri Boucher), Mactaquac, NB; a daughter, Linda Dunch (Allan),
Bermuda; a special chosen grandson, Troy Ford, Upper Queensbury, NB;
one sister, Jenny Schofield, Miramichi, NB; several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son Peter
Love and by a sister Glenna Taylor.
A celebration of her life will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585
Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 2 to 4
pm, followed by a graveside service at Mactaquac Cemetery at 5 pm with
Rev. Peter Beckwith officiating.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Anna, the family
has suggested the Alzheimer Society or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
