Anna “Ann” Livingston (Hales)
Livingston, Anna (Ann) (Nee Hales) – Ann passed away peacefully at the Port Colborne Hospital on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in her 95th year. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Livingston, her parents Thomas and Mary Hales, her sisters Kathleen Webb, Sarah Chambers, Agnes Alfonso and brothers Samuel, James and Thomas.
Ann was a lifelong resident of Welland and a long-time employee of General Tire. She was a tireless volunteer for many charities and served as a board member for Meals on Wheels. Ann led a very vibrant life and was a skier in her younger years and an avid swimmer and bowler until quite recently. She had a soft-spot in her heart for all animals, especially her four-legged companions Twiggy and Tucker.
At Ann’s request, cremation has take place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. There would be no greater way to honour Ann’s memory than to do something meaningful, no matter how great or small, for another in need. This is the way Ann lived her life…a life very well led.
