OBITUARY
Anna Helena Kowalczuk
20 August , 1936 – 21 March , 2018
Anna Helena Geertruda Kowalczuk passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday March 21, 2018, aged 81.
Predeceased by her husband Alek in 2002. Anna was a long-time employee of Savage Shoe in Preston/Cambridge, up until the mid-80s. She spent her free time knitting and crocheting preemie caps and baby blankets for donation to Cambridge Memorial Hospital, and making knitted dolls for donation to the Alzheimer Society. The family is deeply grateful to Anna’s neighbours Eileen, Janey and Darren, for their very kind help over the past several years. Anna was able to live in her much-loved house as long as possible because of your support.
Cremation and Interment have taken place. An informal reception for friends and family will be held Saturday April 14, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Anna’s house. Please call Cindy at 519-442-7695 if you need Anna’s address.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, 700 Coronation Blvd, Cambridge N1R 3G2 would be very much appreciated by the family.
