Obituary for
Ann Marie Fiorini (Kirby)
Ann Marie Fiorini passed away peacefully September 24th, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Ann was a cherished wife to Anthony Fiorini for 54 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Helen Kirby and by her beloved daughter, Stefanie. She was the loving mother of Jennifer MacDonald (Brian), Nancy Walker, Stephen (Jennifer), Michael (Gwen), and Robert. She will also be missed by her son-in-law, David Kinley. She was a very proud Nonna to Anna, Brittany, Olivia, Brienne, Cameron, Abigail, Matthew, Connor, Mark, Madeline, Avery, Victoria, Evan, Maria, Gabrielle, & Roman. Ann was a beautiful sister to Brian (Kathy), Jane Clegg (David) Mary Lou Grenier ( Ray), Philip (Karen), and Adele. She will be missed by her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ann was a teacher of note for many years. She had a joy of life…she was independent, strong, determined, loving, kind and welcoming of all who arrived at her home, whether announced or unannounced. She dealt with her challenges in life with style, thoroughness and grace. She once said that, “Life has taught me things that I had never wanted to learn”. Ann was a role model for all of us. She will remain so in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held on Monday October 1st from 2pm to 8pm at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne St. in Toronto. A Celebration of Life will follow at the funeral home on Tuesday October 2nd from 10am-12pm. Private interment to follow at a later date. We want to extend a special thank you to the medical staff at Princess Margaret Hospital and, in particular, to Dr James Brierly. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be directed to Princess Margaret Hospital (Head & Neck Cancer Center or Immunotherapy Research).
