We are heartbroken to announce
the passing of our Dad, Angus Smith at the age of 88 formerly of Glace
Bay, Nova Scotia on May 3, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Leona
Smith (Nov 28 2016). Loved father of Joan Levesque
(Clarence) of Ottawa, Roberta Fisher (Stephen), Doug Smith (Edna) all
of New Brunswick, Colleen Quarrie (Jeff) of Elora, Anita Molto (Paul)
of Kitchener, and the late Paul Smith (Nov 24 1993). Pappy leaves
behind 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He also leaves
behind his sister Joyce Ferneyhough of Maryhill, ON & his
brother Fraser (Gayle) of Calgary. He will be fondly
remembered by many nieces and nephews. Dad was the son of
the late Neil & Katie Smith of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. At
Dad’s request, cremation has taken place. We would like to
thank all the staff at Twin Oaks of Maryhill Nursing Home. Memorial
contributions to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be
appreciated. Join us on Sunday May 6th at the Guelph Country
Club on 133 Woodlawn Rd. East from 1 – 3 p.m. for a Celebration of
Life. Arrangements entrusted to the GILCHRIST
