1937-2018
Dwyer, Ambrose Leo … Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his
family at Cambridge Country Manor on Saturday November 24, 2018 at the
age of 81. Loving and devoted husband of Sharon (nee Bannerman).
Beloved father of Ambrose (Lisa), Lorie Smith (Kevin), Glen, and
Cynthia MacMillan (Kenneth). Proud grandfather of Ryan (Amanda),
Lindsey, Curtis, Jessica and Carly. Ambrose will also be sadly missed
by his daughter-in-law Lucy Dwyer, brothers Bill (Mary), Frank
(Violet) and Phonse, sisters Loretta Lively, Margarette Daniels and
Rita Papp (Leonard). Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Annie
Dwyer as well as siblings Peter, Martin, Paddy and Ileen. Ambrose was
a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He was a
hardworking man and loved his country music, camping and traveling.
His family always came first. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95
Dundas St., Cambridge, where family and friends will be received on
Tuesday November 27, 2018 from 7-9p.m. Rosary will be recited at
8:30p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St.
Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 53 Wellington St., Cambridge,
on Wednesday November 28, 2018 at 10:30a.m. Interment will follow at
Parklawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to
the Parkinson Society would be appreciated by the family. The family
would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Cambridge
Country Manor for their excellent care and compassion.
