Allan William Braun, of Clifford, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at Guelph General Hospital, Guelph, on Thursday, December 27th, 2018 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Anita Braun (nee Lytle). Loving father of Paul Braun and his wife Michelle DeBeyer of Waterloo, Dale Braun and his partner Melissa Donohoe of Vancouver, British Columbia and Karen Williamson and her husband Jeff of Harriston. Cherished grandfather of Paige, Lea and Chloe Braun, and Josh and Claire Williamson. Dear brother of Marleen Ransom, and brother-in-law of Bruce and Jane Lytle, Howard White, Wayne and Sandra Lytle and Lyall and Patricia Lytle. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Katharine Braun, and sister-in-law Eleanor White. Friends may call at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest, on Sunday, December 30th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Allan’s life will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 146 Sligo Road West, Mount Forest on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment at Mount Forest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to St. John’s Lutheran Church, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
