OBITUARY
Carvery (Warrington), Alice Mae – went home to be with her Lord peacefully on Saturday, October 20th, with her family by her side. Born September 10, 1937. She was the oldest daughter of the late Harry Eugene and Ada Warrington. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Deacon Stanley Carvery Sr.; Daughters, Hope (Brian) Johnston, Truro, Angela (Donald) Toronto, Sons; Stanley Jr.(Krista)Calgary, Spencer (Lynn), & Cory (Michelle) Sackville. Grandchildren: Erica, Amanda, Cassandra, Kerrin, Brandon, Tyler, Lane, Zoe, Mackensi and Noah, Great Grandchildren; Arayah and Ariah. Sisters; Valerie, Brothers; Harry Jr.(Karin), Thomas (Margaret), Carter, Carl, Darryl (Nancy), Derrick (Carolyn), Brother in law, Percy Carvery, special friend Beverly(Clement) Patry, special neighbors; Gerald & Ruth Wells, Diane & Basil Bollivar. She was predeceased by Sister, Vivian Carvery, Sister in law, Judy Warrington and Brothers, Frederick and Brian. Alice had many special sisters and brothers in laws. Special thanks to the staff of Dialysis, QEII Health Science Emergency Center and IMCU units for taking such good care of Alice. Alice was a member of Cobequid Road United Baptist Church where she was a member of the Women in Christ (treasurer for a number of years), Finance, Social Committee, Usher Board, and Senior Choir. She was a true testament to her faith and loved her family. She volunteered for 15 years at Beacon House. Alice loved to cook, bake and serve people in her home. She loved her flower gardens and the occasional planting of vegetables. She enjoyed playing games on her computer, shopping and going to the grocery stores. Visitation 12- 1, Funeral service will take place Thursday, October 25th @ 1 pm, all in Knox United Church, 567 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville, Rev. Tracey R. Grosse and Pastor Brian O. Johnston officiating. Reception following the service. Interment at Oakridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Sackville. Family flowers only: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cobequid United Baptist Church, 526 Cobequid Rd., Lr. Sackville, NS. B4C 3Y7.
