Alice Josie Brereton (McFadden)
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 4th. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Hamilton Brereton and survived by her devoted children, son Harold Brereton (Theresa) and daughter Monica Irvine (Barry). She will be greatly missed by her cherished grandchildren Carrie Irvine, Sherrie-Anne McColl (Dave), Brad Irvine (Julie), Jason Brereton (Stacey), Pamela McColl (Mark) and twelve beautiful great-grandchildren (Avery, Nicholas, Cooper, Jayden, Kayleigh, Brianna, Carys, Brooke, Eli, Kellan, Logan and Drew). Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Hulse, Playfair and McGarry at 1200 Ogilvie Rd. on Wednesday, August 8th 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A service will be held at the Navan-Vars United Church at 1129 Smith Rd. on Thursday August 9th at 11am. Interment will follow at the Navan United Wilson Memorial Cemetery and a reception at St. Mary’s Hall. Donations in her memory can be made out to the Navan United Wilson Memorial Cemetery, c/o Barrie Johnston, 4279 Trim Rd., Navan ON K4B 1H8.
