Obituary for Alice Dickenson (nee Stubbs)
Passed away peacefully at Blackadar Continuing Care on May 25, 2018, just one day shy of her 97th birthday. Loving wife of the late Edward Dickenson (1986), and loving mother to Ronald (Coreen) and Bruce (Alana). Alice will be fondly remembered by her 3 grandchildren Bryan, Jeremy and Erik. Also, fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by sisters Mable Macdonald, Lillian Webb, and brothers Frank Stubbs, Edward Stubbs, and Walter Stubbs. Alice lived a long, rich life with many friends and happy memories. Special thanks to the wonderful, kind staff at Blackadar Continuing Care who treated Alice as family over the years. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre, 100 King St. E. Dundas, on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 11 am to 3 pm. (additional parking at The Air Force Club). Urn burial to follow at a later date at White Chapel Cemetery Hamilton. If desired, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
