CROUSE, Alfred Lloyd – Age 69, of Lawrencetown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, in Orchard Court Shannex, Kentville, surrounded by his family. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Doran and Lavine (Sweet) Crouse. Alfred worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Lawrencetown & District Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed collecting junk of all kinds. Alfred is survived by his wife of 46 years, the former Etta Hatt; sons, Chris (Fay), Coldbrook; Mark (Chrissy), Beaconsfield; Alfred D., Lawrencetown; grandchildren, Brooke, Donavon and Matthew and Logan and Courtney and their mother, Denise; sister, Alma (Lewis) Bent, Bridgetown; brothers, Reg (Phyllis), Victoriavale; Earl (Linda) Flin Flon, MB; Arthur (Debbie), Alberta; sister-in-law, Judy, English Mountain Road; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Alfred was predeceased by his sister, Edith Dondale and brother, Mel. In keeping with Alfred’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2 pm, Monday, April 2, 2018, in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, 902-825-3448, with Rev. Patty Beals officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. By request, family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to Lawrencetown & District Fire Department or IWK Health Centre Foundation.
