It is with sadness that the
family of the late ALFRED JOSEPH “DUDE” STRANG of Lawn
announces his passing. Alfred
passed peacefully away at the US Memorial Hospital in St. Lawrence on
December 22nd, 2018 at the age of
76. Leaving to mourn with a
lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Marie (nee Edwards) of
almost 54 years; daughters, Allison Bursey (Boyd), Ellen Lockyer
(Toby), Karen Drake (Sheldon), Andrea Strang (Derek), Renee Strang
(Tony) and Courtney Drake (Christopher); 10 grandchildren; 6 great
grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Dot), Walter (Norma), Theo and Mike;
sisters, Helen Grant (John), Madeline Beck (Alvin), special friend
Morgan Edwards; plus a large circle
of extended family and friends.
Alfred was predeceased by his infant son Alfred junior,
parents Thomas and Lillian Strang, brothers Alex, Thomas, Kenneth and
George.
The Strang Family will be
accepting visitors at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Lawn on Wednesday,
December 26 from 2pm to 9pm and Thursday, December 27 from 10 am to 9
pm.
Prayer Service time to
be announced. Mass of Christian
Burial will take place at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Lawn on
December 28th at 2
pm.
Cremation to
follow.
Graveside service to be announced at a later
date.
Our heart-felt thanks are extended to Mary Baggs, Kim
Slaney, Dr. Ali and the US Memorial Hospital Nursing Staff, our family
appreciates your compassion and care; it will never be
forgotten.
We would also like to thank our extended family and
friends and everyone who helped us out, your kindness is very
appreciated.
