Obituary Overview
Alexander “Alex” Rever
It is with heavy hearts we share that Alexander “Alex” William Rever, 25, of Tiny, Ontario passed away unexpectedly in the afternoon of June 17th, 2018 on Gun Lake, near Bralorne, British Columbia. Born in Orillia, Ontario on April 10, 1993. With a passion for extreme sports, he was always eager to share the thrill with family, friends, and members of the community, which brought with it so many laughs and great memories. A young man who enjoyed taking things apart and sometimes putting them back together again, Alex graduated first in his class from Georgian College Small Engine Program, and worked as a small engine mechanic, closely following the footsteps of the boy’s predeceased father, Rick Rever. Alex is preceded by his mother Jennifer (Stephen Grozelle), his brothers Adam (Natallie) and Nick (Emilie), his step siblings Lance (Bianca) and Tyrra (Brad), his grandparents Adrienne and George Dunn, and Joyce and the late Jerry, his nephews Ricky and Rhemy, and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Alex’s energy was contagious; with constant humour and his unmistakable grin, he will be sorely missed by his large and loving family, and the many close friends he so gratefully cherished. Service commemorating Alex will be held on Friday, July 13th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, Penetanguishene, Ontario. Burial to follow at St. Margaret Cemetery, Midland, Ontario. Afterwards and until 4 p.m., the family invites all who knew Alex, to the Midland Legion.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Alexander Rever 2018.source
