OBITUARY
Alexander Charles Brenner Jr.
October 16, 1936 – December 14, 2018
Passed away peacefully at Nanaimo General Hospital, with Jerry and Min holding his hands, on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the age of 82.
Loving father of the Late Phil (1990), Vince (Linda), Joanne Robinson (Brad), Jerry (Min), Karen (Johnny), and Joe. Loving grandfather of Christina, Jason, Leanne, Chris, Josh, Caleb, Bowen, Jessica, Justine, Colton, Cameron, and Kellen and great-grandfather of Dakota, Mackenzie, Benjamin, Stella, and Aella. Alec will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters Annette Carrie (Late Dave) and Elaine Brenner, sister–in-law Colleen Brenner and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is also predeceased by his parents Alexander and Yvonne Brenner, brother Stan Brenner and the mother of his children, Mary Edith Brenner.
During his illness, Alec was especially supported by his son Jerry so the rest of the family want to thank him for that extra care that allowed Alec to stay in his own home.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will take place at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251) on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 6 – 7 p.m. with the Funeral Liturgy being said at 7 p.m. in the Barthel Chapel.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Mothers Against Drunk Driving would have been appreciated by Alec, in honour of his son Phil.
