In Loving Memory of Alcide J. Cormier
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alcide J. Cormier at the age of 87 on January 20, 2018 at Villa Du Repos.
Alcide is survived by his twin brother Adelard (Clemance) Cormier, Vincent (Florine) Cormier, four children, Karen (Bob) Douthwright, Terry (Patty) Cormier, Denise (Ulysse) Cormier, Dawn (Wyatt) Mullin; daughter in law, Phyllis Cormier; Grandchildren, Tammy, Tanya (Doug) Guthro, Michelle, Joshua, Matthew, Ashley (Eric) Chase, Jeremy, Chelsea (Alex) Caldwell, Nicole, Jenna (Luke) MacNeil, and Lucas. He will also be missed by his great grandchildren, Shaun (Carly), Curtis, Enoch, Ezekiel, Silas, Riley, Ashlyn, Lincoln, Rylee; great great grandchildren, Conner, Tinsley, Noah, and Oliver, he also leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Alcide was predeceased by his parents, Denis and Dora Cormier, his loving wife of 68 years, Carmel, son Francis, brother, Laurie and sister Bernadette.
Alcide was employed with the CNR for 35 years.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home Chapel.
If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
